MADRID, Iowa—Clinton Sealine, 90, of Madrid, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the Madrid Home in Madrid. He was born on June 29, 1934, in Marion Township, the son of Reuben and Edna (Nelson) Sealine. He graduated from Stanhope High School.
On August 9, 1959, Clinton married Marlene Sesker at The First Evangelical Free Church in Boone. He worked as a farmer and then as a truck driver until his retirement. He was a member of the Church of God of Abrahamic Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Edna Sealine; brother, Donald Sealine; sister, Charlotte Jensen; son-in-law, Ted Rogers; and son-in-law, Ed Goodman.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Marlene Sealine; daughter, Juli (Steve) Knauss; daughter, Lisa Rogers; son, Jon (Cindy) Sealine; grandsons, Arik Sealine Smtih and Winston Smith; granddaughter, Meaghn (Troy) Vogl; and granddaughter, Montana Goodman (fiancé, Justin Schaefer).
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley, Iowa. Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be before the service at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Fjeldberg Cemetery following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.
