Ogden basketball hosts Pocahontas Area

The Ogden boys’ basketball team lost a close one to Pocahontas Area, 59-58, on Tuesday, December 17, in Ogden.

The Ogden boys’ basketball team lost a close one to Pocahontas Area, 59-58, on Tuesday, December 17, in Ogden. 

Brayden Miller led the Bulldogs with 23 points on 9 field goals, 3 3-pointers, and 2 free throws. 

Jase Coleman had 12 points on 4 field goals, 3 3-pointers and 1 free throws. 

Tanner Rohe had 8 points on 3 field goals and 2 free throws. 

Rohe, Coleman and Jordan Benjamin had 1 assist each. 

Benjamin had 3 rebounds, and Brady Van Sickle had 3 rebounds and 1 steal. 

The Bulldogs fall to 2-4 overall while Pocahontas Area improved to 2-3 overall. 

Ogden returns to West Central Conference play as it hosts Woodward-Granger (1-5) on Friday, December 20, in Ogden. 

Girls lose to Pocahontas Area 

The Ogden girls’ basketball team lost to Pocahontas Area, 77-9, on Tuesday, December 17, in Ogden. 

Cloey Current led the Bulldogs in scoring with 4 points on 2 field goals. 

Three players, Anna Wilson, Sawyer Curry and Dakota Jones, each had 4 rebounds. 

The loss drops Ogden to 1-6 while Pocahontas Area improves to 6-0. 

Ogden returns to West Central Conference play as it hosts Woodward-Granger (5-3) on Friday, December 20, in Ogden.
