The Boone girls’ basketball team fell to Adel-DeSoto-Minburn, 57-19, Friday, January 10, in Adel in a Raccoon River Conference game. 

Sydney Adams led the Toreadors with 9 points on 2 3-pointers and 3 free throws. 

Macy Chesnut added 4 points on a 3-pointer and a free throw, while Shannon Jekins had 3 points on a 3-pointer and 2 assists. 

Jenkins led the Boone defense with 6 rebounds and 2 steals, while Chesnut grabbed 2 rebounds and 1 steal. 

Boone is 4-8 overall and 0-7 in the conference. ADM is 8-4 overall and 5-2 in the conference. 

The Toreadors head to Alleman to face North Polk, which is ranked No. 1 in Class 3A, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 14. 

The game will be broadcast on AM 1590, FM 101.5 and kwbglive.com with sports director Ryan Wendt on the call.
