Boone County, Iowa – The Boone County Community Foundation is planning a celebration presentation and announcement of their grantmaking awards and results. The event will be held at Grand Community Center at 404 Walnut in Boxholm, Iowa on Thursday, April 10 at 6:00 pm. Grant recipients and their Boards, elected officials and the public are encouraged to attend. We will also be celebrating our 20th anniversary.
The Endowment has been busy receiving and evaluating grant applications. 39 grant applications were received requesting $288,885. At the event, 30 grants will be awarded totaling $169,388. These grants are anticipated to leverage another $6,233,986 in total project spending. The Boone County Community Foundation is actively seeking contributions and gifts to build the grantmaking capacity of the Endowment.
