The Madrid girls’ track team won 2 events as it hosted a meet Tuesday, April 15.
Inna Howard won 400-meter dash in 1:04.97, and Hannah Brandhorst won the 3,000-meter run in 11:40.86.
Three individuals and 2 relays were runners-up for Madrid.
Paige Richards placed 2nd in 100-meter dash in 12.53, and Madelyn Grothus was 2nd in 800-meter run in 2:38.58.
Additionally, Lauren Dvorak finished 2nd in shot put in 35-06.50.
Distance medley relay of Jaela Hansen, Kimee Smith, Lillie Benton and Hannah Brandhorst were 2nd in 4:51.91.
The 4×400-meter relay of Howard, Hannah Brandhorst, Madelyn Grothus and Paige Richards finished 2nd in 4:36.18.
Two individuals and 1 relay finished 3rd for the Tigers.
Richards was 3rd in the 200-meter dash in 26.56, and Mila Grothus finished 3rd in 1,500-meter run in 5:50.69.
The 4×800-meter relay of Mila Grothus, Katelyn Hanson, Olivia Pundenz and Madelyn Grothus placed 3rd in 11:30.56.
Madrid placed 4th with 132.5 points as Roland-Story won the meet with 255 points.
