The Class 1A, No. 6, Boone boys’ tennis team won a meet against Fort Dodge, 9-2, Monday at McHose Park.
All singles victories were in straight sets.
At No. 2, Tyler Lindahl won, 6-2, 6-3, No. 3 Wes Van Pelt won, 6-0, 6-1, No. 4 Braxtan Sproule won, 6-0, 6-1.
Additionally, No. 5 Calvin Jordan won, 6-1, 6-1, and No. 6 Patrick Houser won, 6-0, 6-2.
Four doubles teams won in straight sets.
No. 2 Sproule and Houser won 6-0, 6-3, No. 3 Van Pelt and Jordan won 6-0, 6-3.
Also, No. 4 Brandon Holm and Strummer Grout won, 6-1, 6-2, and No. 5 Kyan Lehman and Sam Chesnut won, 6-1, 6-1.

The boys are now 8-1 and travel to Class 1A, No. 5, Ballard tonight.
