BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Police Department has released information today about three arrests that were made in connection with a burglary on August 9th:
Boone Police Arrest Three Juveniles Following Walmart Burglary
On August 9, 2025, at approximately 2:38 a.m., the Boone Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at Walmart, located at 1515 SE Marshall Street in Boone.
The investigation revealed that three juvenile males forced entry through the front doors and attempted to steal alcohol. With the assistance of Walmart staff and store surveillance video, Boone Police Officers were able to quickly identify those involved. The three juveniles, who are from Story County and Hardin County, were charged with Burglary. All have been referred to the juvenile courts.
