
The Boone boys’ swim team captured first place at the 64th Annual Boone Swimming Invitational Saturday, December 6, held at the Boone High School pool.
The Toreadors dominated the meet, scoring 76 points to outpace Carroll (61), Williamsburg and Fort Dodge (27 each), and Atlantic (25).
Boone took first in the 400-Yard Free Relay (Four-Man) with a time of 3:27.51 (Brady Hyman, Simon Enabnit, Issac Clark, Cooper Jensen).
The Toreadors also won the 200-Yard Free Relay (Four-Man) in 1:29.72 (Enabnit, Clark, Carson Mueggenberg, Hyman).
Boone claimed first in the 1000-Yard Free Relay (Two-Man) in 11:10.92 (Hyman, Calvin Cook).
The Toreadors finished first in the 200-Yard Free Relay (Two-Man) in 1:41.51 (Mueggenberg, Enabnit).
Boone earned another win in the 400-Yard Free Relay (Two-Man) with a time of 3:45.05 (Clark, Hyman).
The Toreadors took first in the 200-Yard Back Relay (Two-Man) in 2:00.99 (Jensen, Isaac Winey).
Boone won the 200-Yard Breast Relay (Two-Man) in 2:20.72 (Cook, Wes Schuler).
The Toreadors finished first in the 400-Yard Medley Relay (Two-Man) in 4:38.83 (Enabnit, Winey).
Boone also earned second-place finishes in the 200-Yard Medley Relay (Four-Man) in 1:45.46 (Winey, Cook, Jensen, Mueggenberg) and the 100-Yard Free Relay (Two-Man) in 2:06.28 (Jensen, Marcus Cook).
