Dave Casotti, Boone Mayor, talks about the Boone City Council meeting held Monday, July 20th. Casotti talked briefly about the RAGBRAI overnight stop in Boone. Casotti stressed patience with the thousands of bicyclists overnighting in Boone. From the Council meeting he talked about presentations from Brenda Dryer with Ames Regional Economic Alliance and Victoria Helling, Executive Director for the Boone County Chamber of Commerce. Helling also presented plans for the annual Pufferbilly Days Celebration in September. Casotti also talked about the difficulty in settling a contract with the Boone Area Humane Society.
