
The Boone boys’ cross country team finished 12th in an 18-team field Thursday, September 17, at the Clear Lake Invitational.
The Toreadors finished with 316 points.
Denver captured the team championship with 59 points, followed by Waverly-Shell Rock with 70 and Clear Lake with 100.
Bondurant-Farrar placed fourth with 122 points, while Fort Dodge rounded out the top five with 137.
Austin Felder led Boone, finishing 45th overall with a time of 18:56.4.
Jonathan Myers was Boone’s second runner across the finish line, placing 51st in 19:05.3.
Kam Lehman finished 65th with a time of 19:36.1.
Pearson Lampe placed 80th in 20:12.6, while Samuel Chesnut completed Boone’s scoring five, finishing 86th in 20:43.1.
Calvin Cook finished 91st with a time of 20:59.0, and Samuel Hanna placed 98th in 21:15.6.

The Boone boys will next compete Thursday, September 24, at the Norsemen Cross Country Invitational at River Bend Golf Course in Story City.
