BOONE, Iowa—The annual Awards Banquet for the Boone A&M FFA Chapter was held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 in the Boone High School Commons. Over 140 FFA members, families, and community supporters were in attendance for the event. The evening included a catered meal with ribeye steak sandwiches donated by the Boone Cattle Cattlemen.
During the awards program, FFA members received degrees and awards for their accomplishments in the past year. Twenty-five students received their Greenhand FFA Degree, twenty-four students received the Chapter FFA Degree, and four students earned the Iowa FFA Degree.
The Star Greenhand Award was presented to Hadley Gustafson, daughter of Kelly and Jeremy Gustafson. The Star Chapter Member Award & Most Active Member was presented to Chapter Junior Vice President Mathew Fitzgerald, son of Ashley and Jim Fitzgerald. Chapter President and senior FFA member Henderson Gustafson, son of Kelly and Jeremy Gustafson, received the Outstanding Leadership Award. Ashlyn Lovig, Chapter Reporter and senior FFA member, was presented the Dekalb Agricultural Accomplishment Award. Royce Kilstrom was the Top Fruit Seller.
The evening concluded with the installation of the 2026-2027 Chapter Officer Team. The following students
