
The Boone boys’ golf team competed Wednesday, April 29, at the Prairie City‑Monroe Invitational, finishing fourth overall in a nine‑team field.
Boone carded a team score of 329, finishing behind meet champion Des Moines Christian (300), host PCM (304) and Keota (325).
Individually, Boone was led by Mason Oostenink, who placed 11th overall with a round of 79.
Calvion Overton followed closely with an 82, while Austin Maach added an 83.
Beau Bass finished with an 85, and Brody McNace posted an 89.
Also competing for Boone was Jaxon Miover, who shot a 95.
Des Moines Christian’s Parker Osthus earned medalist honors at the invitational with a winning score of 73.

The Boone boys return to action tonight, traveling to Lakeview Country Club in Winterset for a Raccoon River Conference triangular facing Winterset and Adel‑DeSoto‑Minburn.
