The Boone boys’ golf team opened its season with a victory over Bondurant-Farrar, 179-187, Monday, April 7, at Cedar Pointe Golf Course.
Austin Maach was medalist and shot a 42 while Calvin Overton was runner-up and shot a 43.
Maxwell Roelfs shot a 45, and Mason Oostenink shot a 49.
Rounding out the varsity scorecard was Carter Sornken, who shot a 51, and Edward Heller, who shot a 52.
The Toreadors will host Interstate 35, Odgen and Coon Rapids-Bayard at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 10, Cedar Pointe Golf Course.
