The Boone boys’ golf team won a triangular meet on its home course Tuesday, April 21, at Cedar Pointe Golf Course.
Boone finished with a team score of 155 and was ahead of Carroll, which placed second with a 166, and Perry, which rounded out the field with a 195.
Austin Maach and Mason Oostenink each carded matching rounds of 38.
Close behind was Calvin Overton, who finished third with a 39.
Boone continued to stack low scores with Beau Bass, Jaxon Miover and Brody McNace all finishing tied at 40.
The Toreadors will return to action Thursday, April 23, when they travel to compete in the North Polk Invitational at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny.
