The Boone boys’ soccer team fell to Prairie City‑Monroe, 10-0, Monday, May 11, on the road at Prairie City‑Monroe High School.
Goalkeeper Lincoln Buchwald recorded 11 saves while allowing 10 goals in the match.
PCM improved its record to 7‑4‑2 while Boone is now 0‑16 on the season.
The Toreadors will return to action Tuesday, May 19, when they face Carlisle in a Class 3A, Substate 4 postseason matchup.
