
The Boone boys golf team finished fourth at the North Polk Invitational with a score of 329 Thursday, April 23, at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny.
Host North Polk claimed the team title with a winning score of 299, followed by Roland‑Story in second at 325 and Nevada in third with 328.
Individually, Boone was led by Calvin Overton, who finished sixth overall with a round of 78.
Austin Maach followed with an 81, placing ninth, while Mason Oostenink carded an 83 to finish 16th.
Jaxon Miover and Brody McNace, who both shot 87, finishing 24th and 26th, respectively.
Carter Sonksen finished 33rd with a round of 100.

The Toreadors will return to action Monday, April 27, when they travel to compete in the Prairie City‑Monroe Invitational.
