The Boone boys’ golf team finished second at a triangular Monday, April 13 in Carroll.
The Toreadors had a team score of 155, just one stroke behind Raccoon River Conference opponent Ballard (154) and 20 strokes ahead of host and conference opponent Carroll (175).
Brody McNace earned runner‑up medalist honors after carding a 37.
Austin Maach and Mason Oostenink each turned in rounds of 38.
Calvin Overton added a 42, while Beau Bass and Jaxon Miover both finished with 43s, rounding out Boone’s scoring on the day.
The meet medalist was Jamin Colvin of Ballard, who led all golfers with a 36.

Boone will return to action Thursday, April 16, at the Woodward‑Granger Boys Golf Invitational at Woodward Golf Club, where they will compete against nine central Iowa teams.
