The Boone boys’ swimming team had one runner up and two events finish in the top 8 as it made a splash at the state swim meet last weekend.
Isaac Clark was runner up in the 50 free, finishing 2nd in 20.63.
Clark also placed 7th in the 100 back in 52.66.
The 400 free relay of Carson Muggenberg, Warren Williams, Simon Enabnit and Clark finished 6th in 3:09.39.
Williams and Muggenberg also competed in the 100 free.
Williams finished 12th in 47.61, and Muggenberg finished 13th in 47.66.
Boone finished 15th as a team with 64 points.

The Iowa High School Athletic Association State Swimming Meet was held Friday and Saturday, February 14 and 15, at the University of Iowa’s Campus Recreation and Wellness Center in Iowa City.
