Bill Skare, Administrator and Ron Kahler, Community Service Officer are guest. Kahler talks about dealing with nuisance abatements, virtually all are complaint driven. Talked also about snow removal requirements, did not have an excessive amount of properties last year. Skare talks about nuisance abatements, a priority of the council. There always seems to be a need for men interested in participating in the program. Mentoring generally occurs during the school year, so there's still time to take the step and volunteer. BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Attorney Matt Speers office posts summaries of court cases handled through the Boone County Attorney’s office on a weekly basis. This week sentencing was handed down on several cases, including that involved guilty pleas to three Class D felonies. The summary is available on the Boone County Attorney’s Office Facebook page.
