ANKENY, IA – The deadline to submit applications for the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition has been extended. The competition is open to current DMACC students or DMACC alumni (completed twelve credit hours or more) who are operating a business in Iowa. The new deadline to submit an application is May 21 by 4 p.m. This is the fifth year of the DMACC Foundation Entrepreneurship Competition. The winner of the DMACC Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition will be announced at the DMACC Small Business Awards dinner September 13. The award is made possible by a generous gift to the DMACC Foundation by an anonymous donor.
