
DES MOINES, Iowa—The Weekly Drought Monitor map released this week shows Moderate Drought conditions continue to expand, increasing by nearly 4% and primarily over west central and north central Iowa. Abnormally dry conditions decreased with much of the area now moving into Moderate Drought.
Locally, much of Greene County is abnormally dry, while Northern Webster County has Moderate Drought. A small portion of northwest Boone County is considered Abnormally Dry, similar to last week.
