DES MOINES, Iowa—Drought and drought like conditions have increased slightly in the past week. Abnormally Dry or near drought conditions increased 3% in the past week to just over 22%. Moderate Drought conditions had a similar increase, slightly less that 3% from just over 11% to 14% this week. The information was released Tuesday, July 21st. Locally, Boone County remains Drought Free.
