HIRTA Pilots Scheduling App in Boone County With School Aged Riders

KWBG 07/31/18

BOONE, Iowa—HIRTA has been testing and is beginning to roll out their new scheduling app called Amble.  In Boone County, the pilot program for the app will be Boone School Aged riders.  To help get the pilot program moving, HIRTA will be holding two meetings with parents and students, Thursday, August 2nd.  One will be at 2:00 p.m. and the second at 6:00 p.m.  Both meetings will be at the Boone High School Auditorium.

Angela Carter said she’s excited about the opportunity for parents to use the new system.  Carter says the app has been tested and now it’s time to expand it’s use.

Carter says there are more than 100 families using HIRTA to transport school aged children.  She is encouraging parents to get registered for the planned meetings this Thursday.  The 2:00 p.m. meeting registration is here, and registration for the 6:00 p.m. meeting is here.  Carter says registration is asked so they can prepare to set up accounts for users.  Those that don’t currently have an account may still attend the meetings to learn more about the service or they may call HIRTA at 1-877-686-0029 or email erides@ridehirta.com.
