MADRID, Iowa—Voters in Madrid have re-elected Chuck Rigby as their City Council Member at-large. Rigby picked up 383 votes to best challenger Denise Moore who had 161 votes. The other contested race featured Steve Burich in the 2nd Ward in Madrid challenged by former 2nd Ward Council Member Kurt Kruse. Burich received 132 votes to 78 for Kruse.
Madrid Mayor Thomas Brown was unopposed and received 493 votes.
