Boone High School Science Teacher and Head Basketball Coach, Justin Baute, has resigned his positions within the district. Mr. Baute will fulfill his teaching duties through the end of the school year, and then will move with his wife back to Indiana to seek out other opportunities closer to home and family.
“It’s never easy to say goodbye to a colleague like Justin Baute. Over the past seven years, Justin has invested much into the Boone School Community as a teacher and coach. His ability to establish a balance of high expectations with a supportive mentality in the classroom, and on the court, has had a profound impact on our school culture. It would be hard to measure the level of commitment and dedication that Mr. Baute shows for student learning and success on a daily basis. His steady leadership has been felt by many. You would be hard-pressed to find another educator who could match his integrity, professionalism, and conscientious mentality.”
“While it is hard to see Justin move on, we are excited for him and his wife to embark on the new opportunities presented near their hometown in Indiana. We are thankful to have felt the positive impact Justin has had on Boone High School and Boone Athletics. Justin Baute will always be a Toreador!”
