The Madrid boys’ golf team opened its season Monday, April 7, at Woodward Golf Club.
The top individual for the TIgers was Matai Peasley, who shot a 53
Eli Petersen shot a 55, followed by Zach Newell, who shot a 56.
Levi Cockler shot a 58, and Emerson Bridgewater rounded out the scoring and shot a 62.
Madrid scored 222 points.
Pleasantville had the 4 lowest score and won the meet with 158 points.
ACGC was 2nd with 190 points, and West Central Valley was 3rd with 202 points.
The Tigers next compete in a quadrangular against Earlham, Ogden and West Central Valley on Thursday, April 24, at Stuart.
