The Madrid boys’ cross country team finished eighth at the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center Invitational on Thursday, September 24.
The Tigers scored 214 points in the 18-team field.
Baxter won the team championship with 63 points, followed by Winterset with 72 and Nevada with 85.
Ballard was fourth with 108 points.
Madrid was led by a pair of runners finishing back-to-back.
Hudson White placed 13th with a time of 17:47.90, while Jacob Brandhorst was right behind him in 14th at 17:48.00.
Kris Petersen finished 31st in 18:37.60.
Isaac Boes placed 89th with a time of 20:43.60, while Aiden Titus completed Madrid’s team scoring with a 100th-place finish in 21:06.70.
Sean Udelhoven finished 21:26.60, and Cole Berberich finished in 21:45.50.
Aiden Firmstone had a time of 23:05.60.
Otto Johnsen finished in 25:48.20, Lyric Ortiz finished in 25:48.50, and James Richardson finished in 25:48.80.

The Tigers will return to action at the Ogden Invitational at Don Williams Golf Course on Monday, September 28, beginning at 5:10 p.m.
