WOODBURY, Minnesota—Michelle M. Miller, 55, of Woodbury, Minnesota, and formerly of Boone, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, following a sudden illness.
She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who dedicated many years of her life caring for others as a nurse. With a soft spot for all animals, Michelle was an especially avid cat lover and lavished love and attention on her three cats – Isabella, Gabriella, and Maisey Olivia.
Michelle was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa on March 2, 1969, and lived her whole life in central Iowa, before moving to Wisconsin and Minnesota, in support of her husband’s work.
Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Rossing; her mother, Carol Martin; and her brother, James Rossing.
She is survived by her husband Mike; her son Travis (Whitney) and her grandkids Ian and Alivia; her siblings, Eric Klein (Jolene), Wendy Koch, and Kenny Rossing; her sister-in-law, Jenny Rossing; her former brother-in-law, Terry Will; her stepmother, Sue Rossing; her mother-in-law, Jackie Vandivier; brother-in-law, Bill Vandivier (Kristin); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, 1006 6th Street, Boone. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boone Area Humane Society.
