BOONE, Iowa—The unofficial election results from Tuesday show that Republican candidate for Boone County Treasurer Lauren Novak is the apparent winner with 5,420 votes to 5,199 for Kris Ann Hickle the Democratic candidate and Independent candidate Kim Rinker with 1,152 votes. The election results are considered unofficial until canvased by the Boone County Board of Supervisors.
