
The Ogden baseball team powered to a 5–0 win over East Sac County in a non-conference baseball game Friday, June 12, at Ogden High School.
The Bulldogs scored twice in the bottom of the first inning, added two more runs in the fifth and capped the scoring with a run in the sixth to secure the shutout victory.
Hunter Mitchels led the offense with a three-hit performance and a stolen base.
Colson Carson collected two hits, including a double, while scoring twice and driving in a run.
Keagan Ristvedt contributed with a double and crossed the plate two times, while Brody Burdette added a hit and scored a run.
Thomas Bergstrom chipped in with a hit and an RBI, and Bek Anderson also drove in a run.
Ryder Hamil threw a complete game shutout, striking out six.
Ogden improved to 8-9 overall and is 5-6 in the West Central Activities Conference while East Sac County fell to 2-10 overall.
Ogden will travel to West Central Valley (4–10 overall, 1-3 conference) for a conference matchup tonight.
