
The Ogden boys’ golf team captured first place at the Southeast Valley Boys Golf Invitational Friday, May 1, held at Oak Park Golf & Recreation in Dayton.
Ogden finished atop the team standings with a score of 166, edging out both Greene County and host Southeast Valley, who each posted a 172.
Manson‑Northwest Webster placed fourth with a 199, followed by Glidden‑Ralston at 204.
Individually, the Bulldogs were led by Hunter Mitchels and Deacon Mitchels, who each fired rounds of 39 to finish in a tie for first place overall and were meed medalists.
Jase Coleman added another strong round for Ogden, carding a 43 to finish in a six‑way tie for fifth place.
Additional scores for the Bulldogs included Colson Carson with a 45, Jace Benbow at 49 and Keegan Ristvedt with a 56.

Ogden will look to build on the momentum from Friday’s win when the Bulldogs compete in the West Central Activities Conference meet on Tuesday, May 5, at Lake Panorama National Golf Course in Panora.
