
The Ogden boys track and field team qualified three individual events and one relay for the state track meet at the state qualifying meet Thursday, May 14, at Roland-Story High School in Story City.
In the distance medley relay Brayden Miller, Jude Klith, Jackson Klith and Myles Tromblay combined for a second-place finish in 3:36.85 and earned an automatic berth.
Tromblay also earned an automatic berth by placing second in the 1600-meter run (4:43.97).
Jackson Klith placed third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.58 and also earned a third-place finish in the 100 meters at 11.42 seconds, which earned him at-large berths at the state meet in those events.
The Bulldogs finished with 56 team points, placing sixth, while Grundy Center won the meet with 135 points.
Tromblay added a third-place finish in the 800-meter run (2:04.70).
In the 400-meter dash, Brayden Miller earned a third-place finish in 52.97.
The shuttle hurdle relay finished fifth in 1:05.39 with a lineup of Weston Sundell, Carson Mueggenberg, Zach Crosman and Treyton Mitchell, which set a new school record.
Ogden’s 4×100-meter relay of Miller, Jude Klith, Mitchell and Jackson Klith clocked 44.55 to place fifth.
Landon Abbott added a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter dash in 54.34.
Jude Klith finished sixth in the 200-meter dash in 23.27, and Mitchell placed eighth in the 110-meter hurdles in 17.92.

Jackson Klith will compete in the 200-meter dash at 4:40 p.m. Thursday, May 21, and also will compete in the 100-meter dash at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
The distance medley relay will compete at 3:20 p.m. Friday, and Tromblay will run in the 1600-meter run at 3:10 p.m. Saturday.
