The Ogden girls ‘cross country team finished eighth in a 12-team field at its home meet Monday, September 28, at Don Williams Park.
Madrid captured the team championship with 70 points, edging Boone by just one point.
Collins-Maxwell was third with 83 points, Grand View Christian finished fourth with 117, and Woodward-Granger was fifth with 140.
The Bulldogs scored 174 points.
Sophie Seligman led the way for the Bulldogs, placing 22nd overall with a time of 22 minutes, 12.98 seconds.
Kelsey Spencer was Ogden’s second runner across the finish line, placing 41st in 23:46.84.
Alena Wilson followed closely behind, taking 42nd in 23:54.72.
Lola Chevailler finished 54th with a time of 24:40.78, while Rylin Casey completed Ogden’s scoring five by placing 57th in 24:44.08.
Alauna Wells added a 66th-place finish in 25:20.29, and Addison Hunziker placed 73rd with a time of 26:17.34.

Ogden will next travel to the Jewell Golf and Country Club Thursday, October 8, to compete in the Jim Klein Cross Country Invitational, hosted by South Hamilton.
