
The Ogden girls’ track and field team won the team championship with 136 points at the Southeast Valley Coed Relays Monday, April 20, in Gowrie.
Ogden won the sprint medley relay (Dakota Jones, Sophie Seligman, Grace Christensen, and Paysen Graden) where the Bulldogs crossed the line in 2:02.69.
Ogden also took gold in the 4×100-meter shuttle hurdle relay with a winning time of 1:12.27, with Alena Wilson, Graden, Ella Anderson and Mady Benjamin.
On the individual side, Trinity Stoneburner claimed first place in the 400-meter dash, winning the event in 1:06.92, and Layla Wells was second in 1:09.36.
Jones added another victory for Ogden, finishing first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:42.34.
Jones was joined on the 800‑meter podium by Seligman, who placed second in 2:49.43.
In the field events, Benjamin placed second in the high jump, clearing 4‑4, and Wilson earned a second‑place finish in the long jump with a leap of 15‑5.5.
Wilson also added a runner‑up finish in the 100‑meter hurdles in 17.25.
