The Ogden softball team delivered a clutch performance at home Tuesday, June 9, edging Panorama, 4–3, in eight innings in a back-and-forth West Central Conference battle.

Panorama struck first with a run in the opening inning, but Ogden broke through in the bottom of the fourth, tying the game 1–1.

Panorama regained the lead with two runs in the top of the sixth, briefly taking control at 3–1.

But Ogden answered immediately in the bottom half, and the Bulldogs scored two runs in the sixth to even the score again.

After a scoreless seventh inning forced an extra inning, Ogden rose to the moment in the bottom of the eighth, pushing across the game-winning run to seal the 4–3 victory.

Leading the offense was Grace Christensen, who had five hits, including a double, while driving in a run and swiping a base.

Sophie Seligman added two hits and a run scored, and Dakota Jones delivered two doubles and scored a run.

Clara Kruse chipped in two hits while Aubrey Leonard recorded a hit and scored a run.

Sarah Seligman also crossed the plate for Ogden, while Lillian Janssen had a hit and an RBI.

Lauren Mathews and Adi Banks each had an RBI.

Katie Wilcoxson tossed a complete game with six strikeouts.

The Bulldogs move to 8-10 overall while Panorama dropped to 4-7.

Ogden will host Earlham (3-12) in a conference doubleheader on Thursday, June 11.
