Boone Mayor, Elijah Stines, talks about this week’s City Council Meeting. Stines said several actions were taken by the Council. The first he mentioned, the swearing in of a new police officer. Cale Naeve has joined the department to fill a vacancy created by the deployment of Officer Riley Bryant. Stines also talked about the financial position of the city, the sale of $1.275 million in General Obligation Capital Loan Notes for the city’s share of the Hancock Drive Extension Project to the Daisy Plant site.
