DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has updated information concerning Severe Storms Today. Primary hazards will be large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Severe Weather will be possible over Central and Southern Iowa today. Large hail may occur this morning over mainly west central to south central Iowa. This afternoon’s severe weather threat will be focused south of Interstate 80.
