DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has provided updated information concerning severe thunderstorm potential over the next several days. Southern Iowa will be the focal point tonight. Mainly Central and Southern Iowa can expect storm activity late Friday through Friday night. Storm activity will become more widespread from Saturday through Monday. Timing for storm development is expected after sunset tonight in southern Iowa; late day Friday through Friday night; timing Sunday through Monday to be refined later.
