7-6-25 – 7-17-26
– Jessica Lynn Geslak Reed, 31, was sentenced by the District Court following a guilty plea to Sexual Abuse 3rd, a Class C Felony. The defendant was sentenced to 10 years of prison, plus a requirement to registry on the Sex Offender Registry for life and special parole for life. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Walter Emanual Bork, 75, Boone, appeared in District Associate Court for a trial on the charge of Fraudulent Practices 3rd, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. Following trail, the jury returned a verdict of guilty. Sentencing will be set at a later date. The case was investigated by the Iowa Department of Transportation.
– Jessica Marie Glaspey, 35, Boone, appeared in District Court following a stipulation to having violated the terms of her probation. On the revocation, the defendant was ordered to serve the originally suspended 15 year prison sentence.
– Jayme Douglas Lenning, 30, Boone, was sentenced by the District Associate Court following guilty pleas to 5 counts of Unlawful Tattooing of a Minor, all Serious Misdemeanors. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years in prison, plus payment of a fine and fees. The case was investigated by the Boone Police Department.
– Bryce Louis Stassen, 30, Ames, appeared in District Court for a probation violation. The defendant had his previously deferred judgment revoked on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault Strangulation, a Class D Felony. The conviction was entered and defendant placed on probation.
