The Ogden boys’ track team competed at the IATC Indoor meet at the Lied Recreation Athletic Center on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames on Thursday.

BJ McGinn, Interim Executive Camps Dean, DMACC Boone Campus, speaks about recent activities on the Boone Campus. He also covers sports related activities serving as the Athletic Director. He updated information on the men's basketball team receiving an at-large invitation for the National Championship Tournament. He also talks about the success former coaches and players have had after leaving DMACC. He visited about the work already going on for the fall semester and reminded us about events coming up, including the STEM Festival and the 5K Ruck March in April. Aired Friday, March 14, 2025.

Severson leads Madrid to victory at state

Toryn Severson led the No. 2 Madrid boys’ basketball team to a victory over Boyden-Hull, 68-57, Wednesday, March 12, in the quarterfinals of the state basketball tournament in Des Moines.

He also reminds listeners that the use of bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are prohibited on sidewalks downtown. Palmer also talked about new scams that have appeared recently and he talked about the Citizens Police Academy now underway and the recent investigation conducted by Boone Police and others that resulted in arrests in a robbery and kidnapping case.
