DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines is expecting some of the coldest temperatures by Tuesday morning. Extreme cold wind chills are forecast for tonight into Tuesday morning. An Extreme Cold Warning has been issued for parts of central and northern Iowa. A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued elsewhere. Much of Iowa will be affected, however the coldest temperatures and wind chills will be across northern Iowa.
