Ajay Braddock of Boone will wrestle against Stoney Wood of Indianola for 7th place Saturday morning.
Braddock will make the podium at the Iowa High School Athletic Association state wrestling meet in Des Moines.
In the consolation rounds on Friday morning at 126 pounds, Ajay Braddock won by major decision, 18-5, over Noah Phillips of Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson before losing to Kyler Simmons of West Des Moines Dowling Catholic, 4-0.
Teammate Brody Warrick lost in the consolation rounds Friday.
At 157 pounds, Warrick lost, 3-1, to Joe Hirsch of Western Dubuque.
Warrick ends his season at 13-4.
