DES MOINES, Iowa—The weekly Drought Monitor Map released Thursday shows an increase in Severe Drought conditions in Northwest Iowa. Overall, Moderate and Severe Drought conditions impact over 38 percent of the state. Central Iowa, and Boone County in particular, remain free of drought conditions at this time.
