
The Boone boys golf team finished fifth overall with 317 points at the Woodward‑Granger Boys Golf Invitational Thursday, April 16, at Woodward.
Ballard claimed the team title with a score of 279, followed by North Polk (294), Adel‑DeSoto‑Minburn (296), and Webster City (299).
Woodward‑Granger and West Marshall tied for sixth at 335, while Perry and Madrid rounded out the field.
Boone received balanced scoring across its lineup.
Austin Maach, Jaxon Miover and Broday McNace each turned in rounds of 79 to pace the Toreadors.
Mason Oostenink followed closely with an 80, while Calvin Overton shot an 87.
Beau Bass completed Boone’s scoring with a 90.

Boone will return to action Monday, April 20, when the Toreadors travel to Lincoln Valley Golf Course for the West Marshall Boys Golf Tournament.
