
The Boone boys track and field team captured the team championship Thursday, April 16 at the Davis Relays in Perry.
Boone finished with 181 points while Ogden ended second with 154.5 points.
Boone recorded a first‑place finish in the distance medley relay in 3:55.79 with Reid McClain, Bossard, Austin Felder and Braddock.
Boone also controlled the 4×800 relay, as the team of Dorian Myers, Johnson, Felder, and Calvin Cook captured first place with a winning time of 8:51.22.
Jude Baumgardner won the shot put with a throw of 50 feet, 9.5 inches, and followed with another victory in the discus at 148‑05.
Myers claimed first place in the 1600-meter run, clocking 4:47.34, while Cook added a third‑place finish in 5:16.89.
McIntyre won the 400-meter run in 52.57 seconds, while Jaydon Clark placed second in 52.92.
Clark also added a third‑place finish in the long jump with a leap of 19 feet, 2 inches.
In the 800-meter run, Johnson ran 2:09.01 to place second.
Brogden placed second in the 110 hurdles at 16.49, with Brenden Hedrick right behind in third at 16.71.
Issac McCloud finished second in the high jump with a jump of 5-06.
Caden Sprecher finished second in the discus with a throw of 126-10.
Javi Casiano finished third in the shot put with a throw of 44-05.
The 4×100-meter relay of Gabe Villalva, Ryder Hilsabeck, McIntyre and Clark finished third in 45.55
The 4×200-meter relay of Hillsabeck, Villalva, McClain and George Grote finished third in 1:38.73.
The sprint medley relay of Brogden, Hilsabeck, McIntyre and Max McLaughlin finished third in 1:42.67.
