
Jase Coleman qualified for the district golf meet as the Ogden boys’ golf team finished fifth at its sectional golf meet Wednesday, May 13, at River Bend Golf Course in Story City.
Ogden tied Southeast Valley at 356 but placed fifth on a tiebreaker, finishing ahead of East Sac County and Manson‑Northwest Webster.
Roland‑Story and South Hamilton shared the team title at 324, with South Central Calhoun (333) and Woodward‑Granger (347) rounding out the top four.
Coleman paced the Bulldogs with a round of 84 as he will now advance to district competition on Monday, May 18, in Shenandoah.
Hunter Mitchels shot an 89, and Jace Benbow and Colson Carson each carded 92s.
Deacon Mitchels added a 97, and Keagan Ristvedt rounded out the scoring with a 101.
Season wrap up
Coleman carried a team‑best nine‑hole average of 40.57 and posted a nine-hole low of 37.
Benbow had the best 18-hole average of 81.33, while Carson had the 18-hole low of 76.
In addition, Ogden won a home triangular against West Central Activities Conference opponents in April and also won a home quad in May.
The Bulldogs also claimed titles at both the Southeast Valley Invitational and the South Hamilton Tournament in May.
