
The Boone baseball team came up short as the Toreadors dropped a 6–4 decision to Bondurant-Farrar in Raccoon River Conference baseball action Thursday, June 11, at Bondurant-Farrar High School.
Noah Davies collected two hits, including a home run, while driving in a run and scoring twice, and he also added a stolen base.
Tyce Carlson contributed with a hit, an RBI and a run scored, while Noah Gorman added an RBI on one hit.
Landon Youngblood crossed the plate for Boone’s fourth run of the night.
Starting pitcher Levi Behn took the loss and recorded three strikeouts.
Bondurant-Farrar improved to 10–6 overall and evened its conference mark at 4–4 with the victory.
Boone slipped to 5–5 overall and 1–3 in conference play.
Boone will return home to Memorial Park for a conference doubleheader against Gilbert (9–4 overall, 5-1 conference) beginning at 5 p.m. tonight.
