Ogden battled Van Meter but dropped a West Central Conference doubleheader Thursday, June 18, on the road.
The Bulldogs fell 9-2 in the opener before coming up short in an 11-9 loss in game two.

Brody Burdette led the Bulldogs at the plate with two hits, including a double.
Christian Thede added a double, a hit and an RBI, while Keagan Ristvedt also drove in a run.
Ryder Hamil and Hunter Stockman each contributed a hit, and Bek Anderson scored one of Ogden’s two runs.
Burdette started on the mound and recorded one strikeout before Thomas Bergstrom came on in relief struck out five.
Game 2: Van Meter 11, Ogden 9
Anderson collected two hits and scored a run, while Burdette drove in two runs.
Ristvedt added a hit and scored twice.
Colson Carson contributed a hit and scored two runs, and Bergstrom had a hit, a run and an RBI.
Logan Ryan and Ryder Hamil each scored a run.
Treyton Mitchell took the loss despite recording two strikeouts.
Hamil provided relief and struck out two.
Ogden is 10-11 overall and 7-8 in the conference.
Van Meter is 10-7 overall and 9-3 in the conference.
Ogden will travel to Granger Monday to face Woodward-Granger in a conference game.
