DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has provided updated information concerning heavy rain and flooding. Persistent heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding and eventually river flooding across central Iowa beginning Tuesday evening and continuing through Thursday night.
