The latest success came Friday, May 29, with a 3-0 shutout victory over Clear Lake on the road.
Levi Behn threw a complete game, striking out five while keeping Clear Lake off the scoreboard.
At the plate, Landon Youngblood led the way with two hits, and RJ Lennon contributed an RBI.
Boone 8, Perry 1
Earlier in the week, Boone scored an 8-1 victory over Perry on Tuesday, May 26, at Memorial Park.
Noah Davies set the tone, collecting two hits, scoring three runs, driving in one, and stealing five bases.
Ryan Bowers added a double, finishing with two RBIs, a run scored, and a stolen base.
Behn also tallied two hits, including a double, while scoring and driving in a run.
On the mound, Connor Scoggins earned the win, recording six strikeouts.
Noah Gorman came on in relief with four strikeouts to secure the victory.
Ballard 6, Boone 4
Boone faced its first setback of the week on Wednesday, May 27, dropping a 6-4 decision to Ballard in Raccoon River Conference play at Memorial Park.
Tyce Carlson went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored, and an RBI.
Youngblood took the loss on the mound, striking out six.
Ogden 6, Boone 5
The Toreadors also came up just short in a tightly contested game against Ogden on Friday, May 22, falling 6-5.
Carlson again led the offense with three hits, including a double, while driving in a run and scoring once.
Hendrix Moorman finished with five strikeouts in the loss.
Now sitting at 4-2, the Toreadors look to continue building momentum as they travel to Saydel on Thursday, June 4, for a non-conference doubleheader.
